I like art books & videos but there are very few I consider really useful unless you get a lot from tired rhetoric or just watching someone paint when half the time all you see is their hand blocking the canvas. I highly recommend this book for it very much reflects the day to day realities of average Afghans and their families over the past several years. It has come from the heart, with her, she writes from “ear” with experiences.
